adidas: Breaking Barriers
In collaboration with adidas for its Breaking Barriers Project, we shared inspiring stories of 22 Champions advocating for women and girls in sports across Europe, from Greece and Italy, to Poland and Sweden.
Two-thirds of the Champions lacked regular opportunities to share their stories before our collaboration. All of them believe that sharing will positively impact women and girls in their network.
Goal Click worked with adidas to identify the Champions, followed by a meticulous briefing and guiding process as they captured their stories through photography, video, and written word.
Goal Click then shaped this content into short-form social content and longer-form website articles ready for publication.
The result was a compelling storytelling series that brought to life the impact of the adidas Breaking Barriers Project. The content launched in two phases, unveiling football stories during the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 and multisport narratives on the Day of the Girl, October 11th.
adidas showcased the series at its global HQ in Herzo for internal engagement, and later in exhibitions at WWC Fan Fest in Berlin and Festival 23 in Sydney during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
