FA Volunteer Campaign
We are teaming up with The FA to find passionate volunteers across the England FA network to be part of an FA Volunteer Campaign. The Campaign is a celebration of dedicated football volunteers who tirelessly contribute their time week in and week out.
What kind of volunteers are we looking for?
We are looking to put the spotlight on committed volunteers (e.g. coaches, referees, club founders, ground staff) in England who have compelling stories about their involvement in grassroots football. Volunteers who represent the breadth and depth of those who contribute their time to supporting football across the country. Volunteers who bring positive changes and unique initiatives to their local football communities.
Are there any requirements volunteers must meet to apply?
Volunteers must be aged 16+
Volunteers must be volunteering for an FA affiliated club / organisation
Volunteers should ideally be unpaid, but please let us know if you are paid a small amount as we do not want to rule people out for this and you may be able to qualify
What do volunteers have to do if they are selected to be part of The FA Volunteer Campaign?
Selected volunteers will share their story of volunteering through filming, photography and some media work. These stories will feature in FA campaign materials to celebrate the role of volunteers across the country (exact details will be confirmed upon selection).
Selected volunteers will need to be available for one day of filming in early September (exact date to be confirmed).
Do volunteers receive anything if they are selected for The FA Volunteer Campaign?
Selected volunteers will be rewarded by The FA for their participation in the campaign, the details of which will be confirmed upon selection.
